This discussion was inspired by the tragic events which took place on May 24, 2022, in Uvalde, Texas at Robb Elementary School. Another horrific shooting at a school once again raises the question of why violence happens in the human race. There are spiritual dimensions to violence that the Bible speaks to, including sources and solutions. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those who lost their babies and loved ones. God help us!

This fourth lesson in 2Thessalonians 2 completes our chapter two study and moves on to chapter three. Here Paul mentions seven extraordinary blessings by which God has made those who have come to him into a very special people. What is it that God has done that makes you and I as believers a special people?

Now we look at the flip side of God's grace, as we discover seven fears in wrath. Paul is very aware that, as well as the grace and mercy of God are concerned, there is also the wrath and retribution of God that we need to consider and be very aware of.

This lesson is taken from the first chapter. Now, what we will do here is join the first five verses with the last two verses and in these verses, we will find seven great goals which we can truly achieve, but only by the grace of God. So, let’s look and learn about these seven goals which we can only achieve by the grace of God.

Jesus was a Master of the parable. In his teaching, Jesus used parables often and to great effect. Parables were a good way to teach, and Jesus was good at telling them. However, there were more reasons than that for Jesus’s use of parables.

The Parable of the Slighted Invitation (Luke 14:15-24) is about people invited to a dinner. When they refused the invitation, other people were rounded up and compelled to attend. What is this saying about grace and choice?
