"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

I want to begin introducing you to this person of whom we preach, who was crucified and raised to life after 3 days, the one who is the greatest and most important person in human history. In the Greek tongue, He is called Yeshua and in the English tongue, we call him Jesus.

The Lord promises that he will hear our prayers (1 John 3:22). He promises that all things will work together for the good (Rom 8:26-28). When these things are misunderstood, people become disillusioned and disappointed. In this lesson, we discuss three false expectations of prayer.

Does the Bible teach that there will be one last day for this world? Yes, and the Bible tells us what events will happen on that last Day. We do not know when the end of the world will be, but we do know what will happen on the last day —the day of the second coming of Christ.

In Zechariah’s time, two special men represented the two great families of the kingdom of Israel. These men were regarded as the "sons of oil" or anointed ones (Zechariah 4:14).

Jesus offered his body and his blood, as the final sin offering for all people for all eternity. "For by one offering he has perfected forever those being sanctified." (Hebrews 10:14). Animal sacrifices should have ceased the day Jesus died.

One of the signs which accompanied Christ’s sacrificial death, took place in the inner sanctum of the house of animal sacrifice: "Behold the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom" (Matthew 27:51)
